Nice contrast on this one, really has a good shape. Loving the derpy eyes too. I could see this being a great animation/cutscene for a game.

Nice one, how well does the paper work for supporting the reverb. Seems like it would make some high pitch distortion without something a bit more solid holding the speaker. Still, brilliant idea, hope you win the competition.

J-qb responds:

It never was a great speaker to start with, but I'm pretty surprised with how well it sounds in this casing. That is, it's really not noticably worse than the original. I used 235 gram paper which I then plastified, so I guess that helps a bit. But yeah, you can't really expect great sound from a 4 inch non-powered mono speaker.
Thanks for the comment!

Very nicely detailed with some great action going on. The only thing this image lacks is a little atmospheric prespective to make the characters stand out. Currently they all kinda have the same value so when I look at it they start blending together rather then letting me focus on the two characters in front fighting. The brown character in front's head kinda seems a bit big, but If that's intended I wouldn't worry. I've been known to come up with monsters with massive noggins. Anyhow, keep up the good work.

MMMM I always love a good forrest illustration. This ones got some good texture work going on that really brings it to life and the atmospheric perspective is working really nicely. The trees look completetly moss covered since they are all green, if you meant to show a little bark I recommend throwing a little brown into the mix to pull that out otherwise its good work. Kinda like how magic likes to have green magic cards be dominantly green in color.

Charongess responds:

Hey thanks for the compliment. I really appreciate the positive feedback.

Good concept, could use a little cleaning up to get rid of the blurry so it better matches the crisp facial details.

Nice idea, what meme is that? Ive always wanted to make myself into a monster. Good use of the glowing effect on the tattoo work. Is that a shy guy mask?

ManDemolition responds:

Not quite for certain if it's an official meme, but I think it's called a Monstersona meme. You basically take yourself, your likes and dislikes, and put them all together into a beast of your own design.

And yes, that's basically a ShyGuy mask. XD

Hell yes, robot propaganda posters for the win! You did a great job reproducing the style.

VPcomics responds:

Thank you! Glad you like it!

This is one of those times when my hand is going crazy trying to find the scout button but unfortunately the system requires 5 examples of your work. Great job on the atmospheric perspective. Your definitely a quality speed painter. I also like how you did the beam of light coming through which really gives the feeling of being in an enclosed space.
