Great work guys, I wish more people were teaching this.

RiverJordan responds:

Perhaps we'll start a trend! haha

Not sure

Im still deciding on if I like it or not. Some of the work was well done. I have done some work that had to be completed in under 36 hours before. N00bs vs L33t is one of those, and I know its a paint to get alot of work done in a short amount of time expecially if you dont have a tablet >.<

Id say the best work I saw in this was the morphing animations, They were very smooth and timed well with the music.

Its nice to see collab music videos every once in a while and I plan to do one if I can ever manage the time, but I think what makes a collab really good is a theme even if its abstract. There is an older collab by the name of Mad World in the portal that is a good example of this.

Other then that, keep it up. I see a lot of promise from a few of the animators of the collab (for politeness sake I wont list who they were) But to the rest of you I think it wouldnt be more then just a few weeks or so of solid animation study and hitting the books to get some more front page stuff out there.

Thanks for the review man, I enjoy your work. And although you didn't like it, you managed to write a review that I can read, understand and you managed to be helpful rather than abusive.

As you said "some people should practice with books". I really hate when that is said, only because I think people only get better with more hands on training.

Thanks for the good review though.

Brilliant Cinematics

Great work with the cinematics, you could easily use this as a base model for a completed animation ready for production or even live action script. I thought the stick figures were a bit oldschool for flash but you've done well with moving them realistically which would make going over them with full models extremely easy. Keep the episodes coming.

5: Lets keep this bad boy on top

Get-lost responds:

Thanks

Neat

I like it, but even tho the heads and shading are done different, it still looks alot like the madness characters wich really gets to me. However the background is much nicer

Lothenon responds:

I won't deny they kind of look like the madness characters. However that's not intentional - It's just that these torso-sphere-hand-characters are the easiest to animate. ;)
